We are thrilled to have connected with Jon Knox and his team at Dogwood Farms.  With oyster mushrooms fruiting ahead of schedule, Jon was a serendipitous savior.  He responded to my email with a phone call and had us rush over the mushrooms for him to put out at his store.  He guided us through developing some marketing materials for him and by the end of the week our business was introduced to Somerset County.  Jon is both a professional and a genuinely generous person – we look forward to getting to know him better.  We are also very excited to have joined the local food movement, and hope meet more of wonderful New Jersey farmers as we grow our mushroom farm.
